Rowlinson has been named North West Homebuilder of the Year 2026 at the North West Homebuilder Awards, held at Albert Hall, Manchester.
The award recognises our work in delivering high-quality homes, creating positive outcomes for local communities and working collaboratively with partners across the region.
The judges praised our commitment to putting communities first through the delivery of developments that respond to local needs while creating wider social value.
The award recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence in housebuilding, design, delivery and community impact, and is selected by an independent panel of industry judges, who commented:
“Rowlinson was crowned the Cowgills North West Homebuilder of the Year for 2026. A company that has demonstrated, across multiple categories, what it means to truly put community first. Their work has touched thousands of lives, delivering genuinely affordable homes, extra care provision, and a beating heart for communities that needed it.
“Their commitment to working in partnership with housing associations, local councils, and the people they serve is a model for the industry.”
David Chilton, Chief Executive Officer at Rowlinson, said: “We are incredibly proud to receive this award. It reflects the dedication, professionalism and hard work of our team, together with the strength of the partnerships that underpin every project we deliver.”
“Our focus has always been on creating places where people can thrive. Whether we are delivering affordable homes, housing-with-care developments or wider regeneration schemes, we remain committed to making a positive and lasting difference for residents and communities. This recognition belongs to everyone who has contributed to that shared ambition.”
The accolade follows a strong year for the business, with projects spanning a range of high-quality affordable housing, including Extra Care schemes and regeneration developments delivered through a place-making approach, across Greater Manchester.
