Recognition for health and safety effort

Rowlinson’s fastidious approach to health and safety within its business has once again been recognised by The Building Safety Group (BSG).

As BSG’s Northern Region winner, Rowlinson’s efforts across all its sites were taken into account. Health and safety audits were carried out on a 2-3 weekly cycle with BSG checking for, and advising on, health and safety compliance.

Keeping our workers safe, along with the communities near to our sites, is paramount.

Steve Weir, construction director, Rowlinson said: “Health and safety is always a top priority for Rowlinson. Keeping our workers safe, along with the communities near to our sites, is paramount. All credit to our hardworking site managers and staff for this great achievement.”

Overall, more than 800 companies participate nationwide across 3,500 workplaces, with some 10,000 safety inspections taking place by BSG throughout the year.
