Care & Support
Rowlinson is constructing 72 new homes, designed specifically for people aged 55 and over, as part of our Depot development in south Manchester.
In total, there will 53 one-bedroom and 19 two-bedroom homes available for social rent via Mosscare St Vincent’s housing.
“Supporting independent living.”
The scheme will provide much-needed, good quality, new housing for older people – allowing them to remain independent in their own homes for longer.
Grant funding has been received from Homes England towards the scheme, which was designed by Buttress Architects.
The extra care scheme, to be known as Elmswood Park, forms part of the wider Depot development. With a mix of apartments, family homes and later life accommodation, together with a number of tenure options, it is bringing a new, vibrant housing offer to the area.
