Consultation opens

Rowlinson has been appointed to support Great Places Housing Group in the delivery of the UK’s first LGBTQ+ majority extra-care scheme.

As part of the pre-planning construction work, site investigations are underway, with results helping to inform the design of the development.

And local people will now have the opportunity to have their say – either in person or online – with the launch of a public consultation.

Residents can come along to the site to see the plans and give their views on Friday 12 January from 14:00 – 20:00, and Saturday 13 January from 12:00 – 14:00.

A long-standing commitment has been made to work closely with the Community Steering Group (CSG) to make sure the development, situated on a former hospital site, meets local needs.

Representatives from all scheme partners and the CSG will be on hand at the consultation sessions to answer queries and hear views on the proposals.
